Nevada Heritage — Wide Open Since 1931

Nevada Heritage looks beyond the lights and tells the story behind them.

In 1931, during the hardship of the Great Depression, Nevada made a defining economic turn. The imagery in this collection draws from that history—gaming, work, rebuilding, public schools, the Silver State and the determination to create something new when old ways were no longer enough. The graphics bring those elements together through casino chips, dice and cards alongside tools, buildings, desert landscapes and the enduring symbols of Nevada.

That is why these graphics matter. They are not simply casino imagery. They represent adaptation, work and rebuilding—a state responding to hard times by finding another way forward. The collection's recurring messages—Hard Times Built Strong Foundations, Work Hard • Roll Fair • Build New, and Wide Open Since 1931—carry that history into the present.

Nevada Heritage honors the history behind the image: resilience, reinvention and the willingness to build again.
